Carbine Cowboys - Who we are

Created in the Arizona desert by a couple of Southern California boys who traded beach life for the open range. What started as weekend hobby of target practice, became a brand and a way of life.

Carbine (n.) /kär′bēn

Short rifle. The first true carbines, designed specifically for cavalry use, emerged in early 1600s Europe and were essentially cut-down versions of full-length muskets shortened to reduce weight and make them more maneuverable on horseback.

The French introduced the short “dragoon” carabine, while the Germans developed the Karabiner, from which we get the English word “carbine.”
